“Ashes of Midnight” by Lara Adrian
Dossier # 1978
Name: Andreas Reichen
Special skill: Pyrokinetic, with the ability to churn up waves of flame when he gets angry (which is often, quite a grumpy boots he is). Quite hot, both literally and figuratively. Handy to have at a barbeque but keep an eye on him in case he burns the marshmallows.

“Veil of Midnight” by Lara Adrian
The hardest review to write is for a book which is pretty average. It’s not bad enough that you can write a raniew detailing the number of ways you pulled out your hair (more than five, less than twelve.) But it’s also not good enough where you can get carried away writing an ode to the way the hero fills out his wranglers. (“How I long to be the two round faded blue patches on the front of your jeans!”)

“Midnight Rising” by Lara Adrian
Scene: Midnight at a deserted cemetery
(Enter Rio, carrying a bouquet of red roses and placing them on an unmarked tombstone)
“Hola Mama, it has been a while since we last spoke. What with you being dead hundreds of years or so. Oh Mama, our time together was too short you and I. Sadly before I became the man I am today, you were brutally killed by ignorant humans who do not understand your gift; our gift. It is true that our hands, when laid upon people can bring death but pshaw Mama! PSHAW! Such minor technicalities. And yes Mama, perhaps a little part of you always hated and were repulsed by me as I was….a little distinta from the other young boys my age, but that is part of my charm yes? I think of the times we spent together Mama, you feeding me with your open vein, me hiding from sunlight, dios mio we had so much fun together you and I! But Mama, what brings me here is a burning need to tell you Mama….

“Midnight Awakening” by Lara Adrian
Due to the intense and passionate nature of her feelings for the one Breed warrior known as Tegan (last name not known), Sheridan is of the opinion that to write this here review in prose, would not be doing the splendour and wonder of the vampire known as Tegan justice. And Sheridan is all about the justice. And so, ignoring the groans and moans of Lola and Mimi who have gathered in the RipMyBodice meeting room for “Talent Night”, Sheridan Sakura Carlotta presents: An Ode to Tegan - With Accompanying Interpretative Notes.

“Kiss of Crimson” by Lara Adrian
*SSC not looking up nor removing the cold cucumber slices from her eyes upon hearing the sound of her office door opening*
“Hey Lola. Don’t mind me. I’m just going to lie here for a while because I had another late night with one of the members of the Breed. *smiles dreamily* Oh Tegan. MARRY ME TEGAAAAAAN!! How I lov - Hey! What th “- ” gasped Sheridan in surprise, as her cold cucumber slices were plucked from her eyes by Lola who then proceeded to lie on the carpet next to her. Turning her head to the left, she watched as Lola placed the cucumber slices on her eyes. “So. Finished reading Dante’s book did you?”

“Kiss of Midnight” by Lara Adrian
I *heart* JR Ward. First, she brought to me the Brotherhood (and our love of the Brothers needs no further affirmation here at the RMB offices (ILOVEYOURHAGE!!!!)). Now, through the power of a quote, she has brought to me, the Breed (basically while staring at the new arrivals shelf at the bookstore with a thumping heart, my eyes registered the words “JR Ward”, turned to Lola and said “Hey check it! JR Ward said this book was good! Look look! She says it is “evocative, enticing, eroticâ€! Sold!” “You know that you just judged a book by it’s cover don’t you?” muttered Lola, not taking her eagle eyes off the new arrivals shelf; her eyes scanning each title rapidly for the new Kresley Cole book, hoping against hope that the pale scary lady got it wrong. “No that’s so not true! Look what are you trying to say that I’m shallow and easily misled by false advertising? OMG! check out this guy on the cover! *grabs book off shelf* Gorgeous! I shall read this one too! *ahem* anyway back to “Kiss of Midnight”, look Lola, THE WARDEN says it’s good! In JR Ward I trust”).
