Anne Stuart’s heroes always skirt that thin edge between darkly dangerous and psychotic murderer in my opinion. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, especially if you like your heroes on the dark and sexy side. (Who wouldn’t, is what I would like to know). Her heroes have no qualms about killing and regard any act they have to do as just the means to an end. Just as La Lola would squash anyone like a pygmy hippo if they trod on her new pair of Chanel satin heels. You have been warned.
