I know that I read this book. I’m sure of it. It’s on my check-out record. I just have absolutely no idea what it was about. Even after the review, I’m still not quite sure. I know I’ve read a few of her “novels”, because I’m all about the second chance (and, on occasion, third, and fourth), I can say with all certainty, that I will never waste my time on Sabrina Jeffries again. Also on the “Ain’t Gonna Happen Again” list: Julie Garwood, as the mention of the name brings up memories of horrible grammar, nauseating plot lines, and simpering, idiotic heroines. Gag.

This review has the perfect title. I actually have this book in my shelf, which means I must have read it, when it first came out. For the life of me, I don’t recall the story at all.

Yep. That’s pretty much my experience with Jeffries’s books too. (Also, Jayne Ann Krentz and Amanda Quick… although I did experience a long-running glomfest of both years back in college. But now I can’t separate one plot from another.) I’ve never actually sought out a Jeffries book, though. More of a nothing-else-left-on-the-library-rack pick.

CPG I’m so jealous! We’re just running out to pick up Lover Avenged right now. Back on topic, I’m not sure what it is about Jeffries’ books. I am pretty sure I’ve read most of them as well but for the life of me, cannot remember a single one of them.
