I'm sorry Wendy I meant to say that to Gracielady, she was the one who said that she didn't like LM's historicals, not you. Opps.

Lucy Monroe? I only really like her HPs. I'm pretty fussy about historicals.

Equally horribly titled The Greek's Christmas Baby was also great, it's the only HP book I've read more then once, and don;t worry it only has Christmas in the title because it was sold in Dec and they do some Christmas shopping in it.

And, Wendy I liked one historical by her I read, but the paranormal highlander one I read,I didn't like at all, it was too blah.

Not Anne Mather? Wow. No one ever makes me throw books against the wall like she does. But I guess the torch has been passed on.

These may be the single most embarrassing words I've ever typed, but Monroe's The Billionaire's Pregnant Mistress is really good.

Thanks Lauren, when I am strong enough, I will try again. Lucy Monroe eh? Is there a particular book that is good? I miss reading great contemps of the non-murder mystery kind so I wouldn't mind giving it a go. Also, bless your good alcoholic heart gracieclay for that bottle of vodka. You are a true friend indeed.

Wendy, I would tell you if it was but it isn't! *cross my heart*

Andrea (and all those who have recommended Caine's Reckoning) - We're working on getting our hands on a copy! I'm glad you enjoyed this review :)

I second Lauren's suggestion! Lucy Monroe is excellent, I'm reading a book of hers now that has three short stories in it and they are all great! All of her books are good, I have trouble with the historical ones, I don't know why, but the contemps are great!

With HP books there are some that are perfect guilty pleasures, there are a lot that are the reason romance gets a bad name. Unfortunatly because they are all so crafted in a similiar fashion it's hard to find the good ones, but if you want to try again I would suggest reading Lucy Monroe or Jane Porter.

Please do not drink yourself to blindness because then we not get to read anymore of your very funny, hysterical reviews. I'm pretty sure it takes quite awile to learn braile.

I saw that a few other people have recomended Caine's Reckoning. I would have to agree with them that you girls may like it. I have read it twice already and can't wait for the books that follow it to come out.
